preparing them for their unique futures; whether that involves college, trade/technical school or direct entry into the workplace.

 <> Professional Day

  • Our first event of 2008 event was a huge success. We
    enlisted close to 30 volunteers...comprised of outstanding young professionals of color.  They spoke to over 300
    freshmen at our partner high school.  We collected 288 student
    sureys and 94% stated the program was valuable !      (see pics in
    our photo section    )

TAKE ACTION IN 2009

<>  Spring Seminar Series

  • Each month, in the spring term Take Action will meet with
    roughly 90 9th graders
  • We'll cover personal finance, conflict resolution, career
    builing and more
  • Our goal is to inform and inspire

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  
Take Action is incorporated by the State of Washington and has a Tax ID number. We are also exempt from Federal Income Tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Your contributions are tax deductible under section 170 of the Code.
